Sarah J. Buek, MSW – Founder & Principal
Sarah founded The IllumiLab (as Insight Partners Consulting) in 2016 after having worked in the non-profit sector as a family therapist, program manager, quality improvement manager, grant-maker, and capacity-builder. Throughout her career, Sarah’s been driven toward increasing effectiveness, efficiency, and impact because she hates waste and loves seeing results. She believes that, as mission-minded professionals who are drawn into this work in order to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people and struggling communities, we cannot afford to waste time, energy, information, opportunities, or resources. As an “evaluative thinking evangelist,” Sarah is passionate about making the tools and processes of reflection and learning accessible, intuitive, and energizing!
Abby Clavin, MSW – Associate
Abby has worked in the non-profit sector as an administrator, operations manager, and consultant. She’s led organizational planning and process design and improvement efforts to achieve organizational goals and missions. She’s led projects to design, manage, and utilize data collection tools and software that empower organizations to learn and improve. Her passion lies in leveraging people, processes, and technologies to develop and monitor tools to conduct analysis, identify challenges, and present solutions that result in delivery of program requirements in a timely manner.
Kallie A. Clyde, MPH – Associate
Kallie has worked in the non-profit sector as a case manager, program coordinator, evaluation director, and database administrator. She’s earned certificates in Program Evaluation and Data Visualization & Communication from Washington University in St. Louis and is certified by Bonterra as an ETO Database Administrator. She’s led organizational efforts to design and implement data management systems that are clear, efficient, and useful to all stakeholders. In cultivating a culture of evaluation at non-profits, Kallie advocates for the collection of data that sparks curiosity, answers important questions, informs performance management, and shapes program improvement.
